Pearl Moon by Boadicea the Victorious, launched in 2019, is a gender-neutral Oriental fragrance that seamlessly blends tropical and spicy notes with rich woody and animalic undertones. The composition opens with pineapple and cardamom, creating an immediate contrast between sweet fruitiness and warm spice. This bright beginning evolves into a heart of saffron, cinnamon, and plum, adding layers of complexity and depth. The base notes of suede, Moroccan rose, Cambodian oud, sandalwood, amber, vanilla, patchouli, and vetiver anchor the fragrance with a luxurious, leathery warmth.
Pearl Moon has a strong projection due to its leathery base notes, so one or two sprays are sufficient. The fragrance develops over time, allowing the pineapple and cardamom to give way to deeper woody and animalic notes. It pairs well with formal wear but also works in more casual settings where you want a touch of luxury.
