Karine Dubreuil-Sereni crafted Bon Parfumeur's 004 Gin Mandarine Musc in 2021 as a fresh and aromatic composition that balances citrus brightness with warm, musky undertones. The fragrance opens with the zesty freshness of mandarin orange, Italian lemon, and bergamot, which give way to the spicy notes of juniper berries, ginger, and nutmeg. These top and heart notes create an invigorating contrast before settling into a base of white musk, tobacco, tonka bean, and Indonesian patchouli leaf, bringing warmth and depth to the composition.
This fragrance is best applied in light to medium sprays — the zesty top notes are vibrant but fleeting. Focus on pulse points for the warm base notes to linger longer. It's perfect for a day when you want an invigorating start that transitions into a comforting warmth as the day progresses.
