Paul Guerlain crafted Bon Parfumeur's 005 Riviera Absolue in 2026, a composition that balances the freshness of finger lime and bergamot with the warmth of ginger and cardamom. The scent opens with the bright, zesty notes of finger lime and bergamot, which give way to an aromatic heart of neroli, ginger, and cardamom. This dynamic interplay continues into a base of black tea, olibanum, ambroxan, and cypriol, creating a fragrance that is both invigorating and comforting.
Given its bright top notes, apply this fragrance in layers for optimal effect — one spray to start and another after an hour. The base notes develop slowly, making it perfect for daytime wear that transitions seamlessly into evening.
