Cavort Extrait de Parfum, launched by Fragrance Du Bois in 2021 and crafted by Gaël Montero, is a bold Oriental Floral composition that balances the warmth of spices with rich woodsy tones. Saffron and cinnamon open with an aromatic intensity that gradually gives way to a heart of roses and ylang-ylang, creating a floral complexity that's both sweet and slightly spicy. The base notes of patchouli, incense, sandalwood, and labdanum ground the scent in earthy warmth, making it feel like a modern interpretation of classic Eastern perfumes.

Of French-Spanish heritage and raised in Madrid, Gaël Montero studied perfumery at Montpellier University and was mentored by perfumer Jordi Fernandez in Barcelona. After working as a Perfumer Assistant at Procter & Gamble, he joined Givaudan's Perfumery School in Paris, rising from lab assistant to junior perfumer, and now works as a perfumer for Memo Paris, based in Dubai.
