The story behind the bottle.
Pilgrim, launched in 2025 by Chapel Factory and crafted by perfumers Anais Biguine and Pisse-Vinaigre, is a Woody Aquatic fragrance that captures the essence of a journey through diverse landscapes. The composition opens with salt and incense, creating an immediate sense of both purity and mystery. As it unfolds, seaweed and cade oil introduce a smoky, balsamic quality that contrasts beautifully with the marine freshness, making this scent feel like a voyage across different terrains.
Pilgrim is best applied in moderation; its smoky and marine notes emerge gradually. One to two sprays allow the layers to unfold naturally over time. This fragrance reads better close to skin than across a room, making it ideal for intimate settings or personal moments.
