Launched in 2023 by Sospiro Perfumes and crafted by perfumer Christian Provenzano, Deep Ocean Amber is a unisex fragrance that explores the tension between marine depth and warm amber. The composition opens with elemi and ambrette, creating a fresh aromatic contrast to the rich balsamic heart of styrax and violet. As it settles into its base notes of labdanum, ambergris, and benzoin, Deep Ocean Amber transforms from a crisp aquatic accord into an enveloping warmth that hints at something both animalic and mysterious.
One spritz is enough to capture the essence of Deep Ocean Amber. The aromatic top notes are fleeting, so it's best applied right before you need the warm amber base to emerge fully. This fragrance reads better close to skin than in the air, making it ideal for a low-key evening out or an intimate gathering.
