The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2013 by Xerjoff, Amber Star is an Oriental Woody fragrance created by perfumer Chris Maurice. The composition opens with the rich and warm aroma of ambergris, leading into a heart of ylang-ylang and myrrh that adds depth and complexity. The base notes of cedar, guaiac wood, gurjan balsam, benzoin, vanilla, opoponax, and sandalwood create a luxurious and enveloping warmth, making it an ideal scent for those who appreciate a blend of sweet and spicy accords.
Amber Star is best applied sparingly to pulse points. The warm base notes take time to develop fully, so one or two sprays will be sufficient to maintain its luxurious presence throughout the day.
