Erba Gold by Xerjoff was launched in 2016 and crafted by perfumer Chris Maurice. This fragrance opens with a vibrant burst of citrus and fruity notes — Brazilian Orange, Calabrian Bergamot, and Sicilian Lemon blend into a fresh, invigorating accord that feels like the first breath of a crisp morning. As it evolves, Erba Gold introduces a distinctive interplay between sweet melon and pear, balanced by spicy ginger and cardamom. The base notes of white musk, vanilla, amber, and woody elements create a warm, comforting embrace that lingers throughout the day.
One or two sprays are enough to capture its essence. The citrus opening is bright but short-lived, so layer it with the musky warmth of the base notes for an all-day effect. It's best suited for daytime wear when the fresh and spicy elements can shine without overpowering.
