The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2019 by Chloé, Rosa Damascena was crafted by perfumer Amandine Clerc-Marie to embody the essence of the damask rose. The fragrance opens with a bright citrus accord that cuts through the sweetness of the floral heart, where rose takes center stage. This contrast creates an engaging tension between freshness and richness, making it a composition both crisp and warm.
Apply Rosa Damascena lightly at first; the citrus top notes are vibrant but dissipate quickly. The rose base note develops fully over time, so reapply as needed to maintain its warmth throughout the day.

Grasse-born, Firmenich-trainedAmandine Clerc-Marie is a French perfumer born in Grasse, where her mother also worked in the perfume industry. She trained at ISIPCA and spent more than ten years working alongside Michel Almairac before joining Firmenich in 2011 as a senior perfumer.
