Launched in 2006, Chypre Rouge by Serge Lutens is a chypre fruity fragrance crafted by Christopher Sheldrake. The composition begins with caraway and pine tree needles, adding a fresh spicy touch to the honey and beeswax notes that follow. As it develops, jasmine and oakmoss bring depth, while amber, patchouli, vanilla, and musk create an animalic and mossy base. Chypre Rouge is neither strictly feminine nor masculine, aligning with Serge Lutens' approach to genderless perfumery.

Application Tips
Apply Chypre Rouge to pulse points for an intimate experience, as it reads better close to skin than from a distance. The fresh spicy notes dissipate within two hours, allowing the rich base notes to take center stage.
