Launched in 2015, Classique Pirate Edition by Jean Paul Gaultier is a bold and daring fragrance that captures the essence of adventure and rebellion. Created by perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, this Oriental Floral scent opens with mandarin orange and star anise, infusing a zesty freshness into the composition. The heart blends pear, rose, tuberose, and ylang-ylang for a floral sweetness that is both delicate and powerful. The base notes of sandalwood, vanilla, and amber create a warm, enveloping finish. This fragrance embodies Jean Paul Gaultier's spirit of inclusivity and irreverence, offering a daring twist on traditional scents.

Application Tips
For best results, apply Classique Pirate Edition directly to pulse points. The top notes are vibrant and will fade after about an hour, so a second application in the afternoon can help maintain its presence throughout the day. This fragrance reads better close to skin than across a room, making it perfect for intimate settings.

The story behind the bottle.
The thrill of setting sail — where the sea air meets the spicy warmth of cinnamon and ginger, and the floral notes evoke a secret garden hidden within the ship's hold.
