The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 1995 and created by Olivier Creed and Pierre Bourdon, Millésime Impérial is a Woody Floral Musk fragrance that has become one of the most reviewed scents in Creed's lineup. Its standout fresh/citrus-marine composition is often praised for capturing an 'old money' seaside feel. The scent opens with Sicilian lemon, bergamot, and mandarin orange, creating a bright, zesty atmosphere that transitions into sea salt, iris, and woody notes. However, it has also garnered criticism for its weak sillage, requiring heavy application to fully appreciate its nuances.
Due to its weak sillage, apply Millésime Impérial generously for maximum impact. The scent blooms on skin over time, so two or three sprays will ensure that it lasts throughout the day without fading too quickly.
