Launched in 2023, Absolu Aventus by Creed is an evolution of the brand’s celebrated fragrance lineage. This composition opens with a vibrant citrus and fruity accord, featuring grapefruit and pineapple, which give way to a complex heart of pink pepper, black currant, and nutmeg. The base notes of patchouli, vetiver, and oakmoss create a warm, earthy foundation that anchors the dynamic blend of spices and woods. Absolu Aventus is an ode to modern elegance, blending traditional Creed craftsmanship with contemporary vibrancy.
Apply two sprays to pulse points for best effect — the citrus top notes are bright but quickly give way to the warm spicy heart. This fragrance is best suited for daytime wear when its vibrant energy can shine through.

A teenage bottle of Joop, and a mentorJean-Christophe Hérault is a senior perfumer at IFF based in Paris, whose interest in fragrance began as a teenager after receiving a bottle of Joop! Homme. He later met legendary perfumer Pierre Bourdon, who agreed to mentor him into the craft.
