Original Vetiver by Creed was launched in 2004 and crafted by Erwin Creed and Olivier Creed. This fragrance opens with a bright citrus-aromatic blend of bergamot and ginger, which contrasts beautifully against the heart of mandarin orange and Haitian vetiver. The base notes of sandalwood, iris, musk, and ambergris create an earthy, powdery warmth that anchors the composition. It is this juxtaposition between freshness and depth that makes Original Vetiver a compelling scent — vibrant yet grounded.
For best effect, apply Original Vetiver to pulse points in layers. The citrus and ginger top notes dissipate quickly, but they set up the vetiver and sandalwood base beautifully.
