Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
Terre d'Hermès, launched by Hermès in 2006 and crafted by Jean-Claude Ellena, is a Woody Spicy fragrance that captures the essence of earth and air. The composition opens with bright citrus notes of orange and grapefruit, which cut through an aromatic heart of pelargonium and flint. This fresh spicy accord gives way to a warm base of vetiver, cedar, patchouli, and benzoin, creating a grounding yet invigorating scent. Its longevity and moderate sillage make it a reliable companion throughout the day.
Given its long-lasting nature and moderate sillage, one well-placed spray is enough to carry you through most occasions. The citrus top notes are vibrant but brief, so if you prefer a more immediate impact, apply slightly closer to your skin for better warmth.
