Launched in 2006, Cuir de Lancôme by Lancôme was created by perfumers Calice Becker and Pauline Zanoni as an ode to the warmth and depth of leather. The composition opens with saffron and citrus notes that provide a bright contrast before diving into a heart of ylang-ylang, jasmine, and hawthorn. The base is rich in birch, styrax, orris root, patchouli, and amber, creating an earthy and smoky warmth that envelops the wearer.
