Pho Breakfast by d'Annam is a vibrant Woody Aquatic fragrance that captures the essence of a Vietnamese breakfast. Launched in 2023 and crafted by perfumer Anh Ngo with IFF, it opens with fresh spicy notes of basil and ginger, followed by the aromatic complexity of star anise and cilantro. The citrus brightness of mandarin orange and cardamom adds a zesty freshness that transitions into a soft, herbal base of patchouli and cedarwood. This composition is both invigorating and comforting, much like enjoying a steaming bowl of pho on a cool morning.
Apply one to two sprays to capture the initial burst of freshness. The scent evolves over time, so it's best used in the morning when you have a full day ahead. It pairs well with light layering, allowing the herbal base notes to unfold gradually throughout the day.
