Launched in 2010 by Xerjoff and crafted by perfumer Chris Maurice, Damarose is a Chypre Floral fragrance that blends the fresh vibrancy of citrus and berries with the rich warmth of rose and woody accords. The opening notes of red berries and lime introduce a vibrant freshness that contrasts beautifully with the heart’s Turkish Rose and white florals like ylang-ylang and jasmine. This floral bouquet is further softened by powdery musk, amber, and vanilla, while vetiver and patchouli add depth and earthiness to the base.

Application Tips
Apply Damarose in light layers to allow its complexity to unfold gradually. The citrus and berry top notes are bright but fleeting; focus on the heart and base notes for lasting warmth and depth. It's best worn during cooler parts of the day when the rose and woody accords can fully envelop you.

The story behind the bottle.
The moment when an afternoon rain shower clears away summer's heat, leaving behind a garden filled with blooming roses and ripe berries, the air still heavy with moisture.
