Dark Saphir by Agonist, launched in 2013, is a fragrance that captures the essence of Nordic melancholy and beauty. The composition opens with fresh raspberry and aromatic spices, giving way to a heart of violet leaf, black pepper, cumin, and peach, which create an intriguing tension between freshness and warmth. At its core, Dark Saphir features rose, geranium, carnation, iris, jasmine, and orchid, providing a floral bouquet that is both rich and delicate. The base notes of oud, patchouli, olibanum, guaiac wood, vanilla, tonka bean, and labdanum ground the fragrance in a warm, woody, and spicy amalgamation.
