Launched in 2010 by Fueguia 1833, Darwin is an aromatic woody fragrance created by Julian Bedel to evoke the essence of Charles Darwin’s cabin during his exploration of Patagonia. The composition opens with a fresh and invigorating note of cedar before transitioning into the earthy richness of vetiver, which forms the heart of the scent. It concludes with a surprising twist of grapefruit in the base notes, adding a citrusy freshness that contrasts beautifully against the woody backdrop.

Application Tips
Apply Darwin in moderation as the citrus notes are fleeting but impactful. The base notes take about half an hour to fully bloom, so a second light pass after 30 minutes enhances its complexity. Best for daytime wear when you want a scent that evolves subtly throughout the day.
