Dior launched Dune Parfum in 1991 as a collaboration between perfumers Jean-Louis Sieuzac, Nejla Barbir, and Dominique Ropion. This fragrance is an Oriental Spicy composition that begins with aldehydes and mandarin orange, leading to a heart of peony, rose, and lily, before settling into a rich base of patchouli, sandalwood, ambergris, oakmoss, and musk. The scent balances the warmth of spices and woods with the softness of white florals, creating an enveloping embrace that is both intimate and sophisticated.
