Launched in 2011 by Jo Malone London, Earl Grey & Cucumber is a refreshing aromatic fragrance created by perfumer Christine Nagel. The composition opens with the bright freshness of bergamot and water notes, reminiscent of a crisp cucumber slice on a hot day. This citrusy opening gives way to a heart of jasmine and red apple, adding subtle floral and fruity nuances. At its core, Earl Grey & Cucumber is anchored by musky and woody accords, including beeswax, angelica, Virginia cedar, and vanille, creating a warm yet airy base.

Nagel's work for Hermès — including Twilly, Terre d'Hermès Eau Intense Vétiver, and the Jardin series — continues the house's tradition of understated elegance while introducing her own luminous, textured sensibility. She has also created masterpieces for Jo Malone, Narciso Rodriguez, and Valentino.
