Launched in 1996 by Goutal, Eau du Sud is an aromatic and citrus composition that captures the essence of a sun-drenched southern landscape. Created by Annick Goutal herself, this fragrance opens with bright notes of basil, bergamot, grapefruit, mandarin orange, lime, lemon verbena, and mint, creating a refreshing and invigorating top layer. The heart introduces jasmine for a touch of floral warmth before settling into an earthy base of oakmoss, vetiver, and patchouli, adding depth and complexity.

Application Tips
Apply this fragrance in light sprays — it opens up quickly with the bright top notes but develops a deeper earthy warmth over time. It's best for daytime wear when the sun is high, as its brightness can sometimes feel too strong in low-light settings.
