Launched in 1999, Eaux de Caron Forte by Caron is a Floral Fruity fragrance for both women and men, crafted by perfumer Richard Fraysse. The composition opens with bright citrus notes of orange and bergamot that mingle seamlessly with the tartness of black currant and granny smith apple. This fresh fruity bouquet gives way to aromatic florals like lilac, punctuated by a touch of coriander for a subtle spicy warmth. The base of amber, virginia cedar, and musk provides depth and a lingering comfort.

Richard Fraysse, a third-generation perfumer and son of Lanvin's André Fraysse (creator of Arpège), was the in-house perfumer for the House of Caron — a company that, from its founding, has always employed its own dedicated nose. His creations for Caron include Délire de Roses (2011), Impact Pour Un Homme (2005), and L'Anarchiste (2000). He has since retired, passing the role to his son William Fraysse.
