Launched in 2019 by Guerlain, Embruns d'Ylang is a creation by perfumer Thierry Wasser that marries the salty freshness of sea spray with the warm sweetness of ylang-ylang and other rich florals. The composition opens with bergamot and salt, evoking the crispness of ocean air, before transitioning into a heart of jasmine sambac and ylang-ylang. Cloves add a subtle warmth, while iris and patchouli provide earthy depth to the base. This fragrance exemplifies Guerlain’s legacy of using luxurious materials, with its notes of honey, vanilla, and the brand's signature French vanilla.
