Launched in 2010 by M. Micallef and crafted by perfumer Jean-Claude Astier, Emir is a Woody Spicy fragrance that balances fresh citrus with rich, warm spices. The opening notes of grapefruit and orange provide a bright, invigorating freshness, while white pepper and sage add an herbal, spicy tension. At the heart, agarwood (oud) and patchouli create a luxurious warmth, grounded by cedar and musk in the base. Emir is neither overtly bold nor understated but rather a composition that offers depth and complexity, making it suitable for both daytime and evening wear.

Application Tips
Emir's top notes are bright but fleeting; apply it with a heavier hand for those first few minutes to fully experience its freshness. As the oud and patchouli settle in, the fragrance becomes warmer and more enveloping, making it ideal for layering under a jacket or sweater.
