Modern Muse Nuit by Estée Lauder, launched in 2016, is an Oriental Woody fragrance that marries the warmth of vanilla and patchouli with powdery and spicy notes. The composition opens with bright mandarin orange and cassis before diving into a heart of jasmine and heliotrope, creating a lush floral bouquet. This floral sweetness is balanced by the deep richness of Madagascar vanilla, tonka bean, and warm amber, all anchored by woody and musky undertones that lend an intimate warmth.
Two sprays are sufficient to capture the rich warmth of this fragrance. The opening notes fade within an hour, so it's best applied shortly before you need them to bloom into their full floral and woody depth. This scent reads better close to skin rather than across a room.
