The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 1978 by Estée Lauder, Pavilion is an Oriental Floral fragrance that embodies the essence of its era — a blend of crisp aldehydic notes and soft florals with a warm woody base. The scent opens with a fresh burst of white floral and violet, creating a delicate yet distinctive impression. As it evolves, the powdery and soapy nuances add a subtle depth, while the amber and woody accords provide a comforting warmth that lingers on the skin.
Two sprays are sufficient — the aldehydic top notes are bright and immediate, but they quickly give way to the warmer base. This fragrance is best worn during cooler weather when its rich warmth can be fully appreciated.
