Karine Vinchon Spehner is a perfumer whose childhood in Normandy, shaped by her grandfather's biscuit shop and the region's apple orchards, sparked her curiosity about fragrance. She trained at ISIPCA and began her career at Robertet under master perfumer Michel Almairac, going on to create for Amouage, L'Artisan Parfumeur, Memo Paris, and Brioni, including Amouage's Interlude Woman and Boundless. Her compositions favor generous, abundant natural raw materials, especially patchouli and vetiver, and she often draws on childhood memory and nature — her fragrance Tiger's Nest was inspired by a meeting at the Cinéhaïku short film festival in Gordes.
