Launched in 1989 by the Italian fashion house Etro, Palais Jamais is a Woody Aromatic fragrance that captures the essence of a refined and elegant journey through time. The composition opens with bright citrus notes like bergamot and mandarin orange, which cut through the rich earthy undertones of birch and sage. As the scent develops, it settles into a base of musk, vetiver, and oakmoss, creating a smoky and leathery finish that lingers on the skin.
Palais Jamais has a strong presence, so one to two sprays are sufficient. The citrus notes dissipate quickly, but the earthy base lingers for hours, making it ideal for evening wear or cooler weather.
