Night Call by Ex Nihilo was launched in 2017, a proof of the brand’s commitment to avant-garde creativity and refined luxury. This fragrance opens with sesame, offering a warm, aromatic note that transitions into benzoin's rich, resinous heart. The base of tonka bean adds a sweet, balsamic warmth, grounding the composition in an enveloping embrace of amber and vanilla. Night Call is neither overtly floral nor heavily oriental; instead, it occupies a nuanced space where spicy and warm notes intertwine to create a distinctive olfactory experience.
Night Call’s rich base notes take a while to bloom, so it’s best applied before heading out for the evening. Two sprays are enough — the sesame top note fades quickly, allowing the benzoin and tonka bean to shine through as you move into the night.
