Le Parfum du 68 Extrait Le Passeur du Temps by Guerlain was launched in 2013 to celebrate the reopening of their boutique at a historic address. Created by perfumer Thierry Wasser, this woody spicy fragrance plays with contrasts between hot and cold notes. The composition opens with spices that give way to an herbal heart of immortelle, while the base notes of benzoin, incense, and tonka bean create a warm smoky depth. It’s a scent that evokes both heritage and innovation, blending traditional materials with modern perfumery techniques.
This fragrance is best applied in layers. Start with a light spritz to let the spicy top notes take hold, then add another layer an hour later when the base notes begin to emerge. It’s perfect for evening wear, as it develops warmth and depth over time.
