The story behind the bottle.
Heritage Eau de Toilette, launched by Guerlain in 1992 and crafted by Jean-Paul Guerlain, is an aromatic woody fragrance that embodies the house’s tradition of using luxurious materials. The composition opens with aldehydes and fresh citrus notes like bergamot and lemon, creating a crisp and vibrant top layer. As it develops, lavender and clary sage bring a subtle herbal warmth, while patchouli adds depth and earthiness. The base notes of sandalwood, amber, oakmoss, cedar, and musk provide a rich, powdery foundation that grounds the scent.
Apply Heritage Eau de Toilette to pulse points for a subtle yet lasting effect. The aldehydes and citrus notes are bright but fade within a couple of hours, so reapply if you want to maintain the opening freshness throughout the day.
