The story behind the bottle.
Chamade Extract by Guerlain was launched in 1969 and is crafted by Jean-Paul Guerlain, known for his innovative use of both natural and synthetic materials. This Floral Aldehyde fragrance opens with a vibrant burst of aldehydes, hyacinth, and bergamot that cuts through the air like a crisp morning breeze. The heart of rose, jasmine, lilac, and lily-of-the-valley adds a lush floral warmth, while the base notes of balsams, benzoin, amber, sandalwood, vetiver, and vanilla create a rich, enveloping trail. Chamade Extract is a composition that captures the essence of French elegance with its sophisticated blend of bright freshness and warm sensuality.
Apply Chamade Extract to pulse points for an immediate impact. The aldehydes and citrus notes will fade within two hours but allow ample time for the heart and base notes to develop fully on your skin.
