Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
Jean-Paul Guerlain launched Derby (Vintage) in 1985, crafting a composition that encapsulates the essence of French elegance and innovation. The fragrance opens with artemisia, bergamot, mint, and lemon, creating an invigorating freshness that is both spicy and aromatic. As it settles, jasmine and rose bring subtle floral notes to the forefront before oakmoss, leather, sandalwood, patchouli, and vetiver provide a rich, earthy base with mossy undertones.
Apply two sprays to pulse points. The fresh top notes will dissipate within an hour, revealing the deeper earthy and mossy base notes that linger throughout the day. This fragrance is best enjoyed close to skin rather than filling a room.
