The story behind the bottle.
Guerlain Homme Intense, launched in 2009 by perfumers Thierry Wasser and Sylvaine Delacourte, is a Woody Aromatic fragrance that blends the freshness of mint and mojito with the warmth of rum and spicy notes. The composition opens with a bright and invigorating burst from mint and rhubarb, before transitioning into the heart where floral and geranium notes add complexity. Vetiver, Virginia cedar, and patchouli form the earthy base that grounds this scent, creating a harmonious balance between freshness and warmth. This fragrance is a proof of Guerlain’s legacy of using luxurious materials while pushing the boundaries of traditional scents.
Apply one or two sprays to your pulse points; the mint and mojito top notes are bright but fade within an hour. The earthy base notes take time to bloom, so this fragrance is best experienced close to skin over the course of several hours.
