Vanille Planifolia Extrait 21, launched by Guerlain in 2023 and crafted by Delphine Jelk and Thierry Wasser, is a celebration of vanilla at its most exquisite. The composition opens with an overdose of vanilla, which is then punctuated with warm spicy notes to create tension and depth. This rich vanilla heart is enveloped in musky tones and the brand's legendary amber accord, known as opopanine. Each element comes together to embody the quintessence of Guerlain’s trailblazing tradition.
Given its strong sillage and long-lasting nature, Vanille Planifolia Extrait 21 is best applied sparingly. A single spritz can carry you through the evening. Allow it to develop on your skin for at least ten minutes before heading out to let the full depth of vanilla and spices unfold.
