Launched in 2016 by Ex Nihilo and crafted by Olivier Pescheux, Oud is a fragrance that embodies the brand's commitment to refined luxury and avant-garde creativity. This composition opens with cardamom and incense, creating an aromatic and spicy tension before settling into a heart of osmanthus and balsam fir. The base notes of agarwood (Oud) and amber provide a warm and woody foundation that is both comforting and complex. Ex Nihilo's dedication to using the finest raw materials is evident in the depth and richness of Oud, which stands as a proof of their French spirit of pure refinement.
Oud is best applied in two generous sprays to allow its complex layers to unfold. The aromatic top notes are fleeting but essential for the initial impact, while the woody base provides lasting warmth throughout the day.
