The story behind the bottle.
Floris launched 1927 in 2018 as a modern homage to the aldehydic florals that defined early 20th-century perfumery. The composition opens with bright citrus and green notes, giving way to an intricate heart of mimosa, narcissus, and violet over a powdery base of musk and vanilla. This blend creates a fragrance that is both fresh and warm, capturing the essence of a bygone era while feeling decidedly contemporary.
The aldehydic top notes add a crisp, almost soapy freshness that contrasts beautifully with the rich, powdery musk at its core. It's this tension between modern clarity and classic warmth that makes 1927 stand out.
Apply this fragrance with confidence; it has a strong initial burst that fades into a more subtle warmth. One to two sprays are sufficient for the day — the aldehydic top notes dissipate quickly, leaving behind a powdery, floral scent that lingers close to skin.
