The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2023 by Fueguia 1833, New York (Gabriela Hearst) is a Woody fragrance crafted by Julian Bedel. The composition opens with the warmth of nutmeg and balsam fir, before transitioning into a heart of tobacco and cherry blossom. The base notes of maple, virginian cedar, and palo santo ground the scent, creating an intriguing contrast between its sweet-spicy top and woody musk foundation. This fragrance is a proof of Fueguia 1833's commitment to using local medicinal plants in their creations.
For best effect, apply this fragrance to pulse points in the morning. The nutmeg and balsam fir notes are bright but fade within an hour, while the woody base continues to evolve throughout the day.
