The story behind the bottle.

Scentsation editorial

Santalum by Fueguia 1833, launched in 2010 and crafted by Julian Bedel, is a woody fragrance that encapsulates the essence of sandalwood, amyris, and musk. This composition opens with a rich sandalwood note, which transitions into an earthy amyris heart before settling into a warm, powdery base of musk. The scent evokes a sense of ancient magic and eroticism, drawing on the long-held belief that sandalwood has aphrodisiac qualities.

How to wear it

Apply this fragrance sparingly — the rich base notes take time to bloom. One or two sprays will allow the warm, powdery nuances to develop gradually throughout the day, making it ideal for a cozy evening in.
