Launched in 2017 by Chanel and crafted by Olivier Polge, Gabrielle is the brand's first entirely new standalone women’s fragrance pillar in roughly 15 years. The composition opens with bright citrus notes of grapefruit and mandarin orange, which give way to a heart of floral accords such as jasmine, ylang-ylang, tuberose, and lily-of-the-valley. A warm base of musk, sandalwood, cashmeran, and orris adds depth and a powdery finish.
Gabrielle was fronted by Kristen Stewart in its debut campaign, with the launch film featuring her sprinting through Paris to Beyoncé’s 'Runnin' (Lose It All)'. This departure from typical glamorous perfume-ad imagery underscores Gabrielle's modern and dynamic character.
