Gardénia Antigua by Giorgio Armani, launched in 2020 and crafted by perfumer Dora Baghriche, is a Floral Woody Musk that marries the brightness of citrus with the warmth of musk and amber. The fragrance opens with notes of neroli and mandarin orange, which cut through to create an initial freshness. This gives way to a heart of gardenia and jasmine, rich and enveloping, before settling into a base of white musk, ambergris, and patchouli that adds depth and animalic warmth. The composition is both delicate and bold, creating a scent that feels equally at home in the office or for an evening out.
