Launched in 2023 and created by perfumer Quentin Bisch, Gaultier Divine is a striking blend of sweet, aquatic, and powdery notes that capture the essence of Jean Paul Gaultier's irreverent spirit. The fragrance opens with Calypsone and bergamot, leading into a heart of red berries, lily, ylang-ylang, and jasmine. The base includes meringue, musk, and patchouli, creating a warm, creamy dry-down that is both comforting and unexpected. Fronted by actress Yara Shahidi in its ad campaign, Gaultier Divine continues the brand's signature torso-shaped bottle design with a gold conical-bra corset motif. Reception has been polarized: while some praise its warm, creamy finish, others find it oddly tart or sour on skin.
