Silky Woods by Goldfield & Banks Australia, launched in 2021 and created by perfumer Hamid Merati-Kashani, is a composition that seamlessly blends warmth with sophistication. The fragrance opens with the rich, warm spices of saffron and Ceylon cinnamon, leading into a heart of Madagascar ylang-ylang and jasmine, which adds a layer of floral complexity. As it settles, the base notes of Australian sandalwood, tobacco leaf, and musk create a comforting, powdery warmth that feels like wrapping oneself in luxurious suede.
Silky Woods is best applied in two moderate sprays to allow its rich base notes to bloom gradually. The powdery warmth reads better close to skin than across a room, making it perfect for intimate settings or evening wear.
