Gucci Envy Eau de Parfum, launched in 1997 and crafted by perfumer Maurice Roucel, is a Floral Green fragrance that marries the freshness of citrus and green accords with the warmth of woody and powdery notes. It opens with bright bergamot, pineapple, and peach, creating an immediate sense of vibrancy. This fresh top note then transitions into a heart of freesia, magnolia, hyacinth, lily-of-the-valley, jasmine, rose, and violet — a bouquet that feels both delicate and lush. The base notes of cedar, musk, and sandalwood add depth and an enduring warmth.
Apply lightly to pulse points and allow it to develop over an hour. The top notes are bright and fleeting, but the powdery base notes will linger close to your skin throughout the day.
