Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2016 by perfumer Aurélien Guichard, Intense Oud by Gucci is a bold and complex Oriental fragrance. The composition centers around the rich depth of oud, enhanced by warm spices and smoky accords that create an enveloping atmosphere. Frankincense and saffron introduce a fresh-spicy tension that contrasts with the deep warmth of leather and ambergris. This juxtaposition makes Intense Oud feel both ancient and modern — a scent that bridges tradition with contemporary luxury.
Intense Oud develops best close to skin rather than in the air. Apply it directly to pulse points for a warm embrace that lasts through the evening. The spicy top notes dissipate quickly, so reapply after two hours if you want to maintain its full intensity.
