The story behind the bottle.
Ave Maria, launched in 2025 by House of Bo, is a modern unisex fragrance crafted by perfumer Shyamala Maisondieu. This composition opens with rain notes and pear, creating an unexpected freshness that cuts through the rich, woody warmth of oak and leather. The heart of Indonesian jasmine and gardenia is both lush and delicate, while red wine adds a subtle depth that evokes sophistication without heaviness. Cashmeran anchors the base, providing a soft, enveloping comfort.
Apply two sprays to ensure the delicate top notes are balanced by the richer base. This fragrance blooms over an hour, so plan accordingly — it reads better close to skin than in the open air.
