Launched in 2015, III by WIDIAN is a Leather fragrance created by perfumers Ali Aljaberi and Jean-Claude Astier. The composition opens with the freshness of mint and bergamot before transitioning into a heart of leather and dry wood, underscored by the earthy warmth of sandalwood and patchouli. Vanilla adds a touch of sweetness to the base notes, while moss lends an earthy depth. III is neither overly sweet nor heavy, striking a balance between fresh aromatic elements and rich woody undertones.

Application Tips
Apply III in light sprays — it blooms gradually over time. The mint and bergamot notes are initially prominent but give way to the deeper woody and leathery base within an hour, making it ideal for daytime wear.

Ali Aljaberi, based in Abu Dhabi, grew up around his family's fragrance boutique, opened in 1982. He studied at the Sorbonne in Paris, and with the help of perfumer Jean-Claude Astier founded the brand A J Arabia in 2008, later renamed Widian as its ambitions grew international.
