Launched in 2010, Iris Homme by Parfum Satori is the creation of perfumer Satori Osawa, a composition that balances bright citrus and aromatic spices with deeper woody and floral notes. The scent opens with lemon and cardamom, bringing a fresh vibrancy to the top. As it evolves, orange blossom and iris take center stage, adding a nuanced complexity before settling into a base of sandalwood, musk, and amber. This fragrance is neither overly sweet nor too sharp; instead, it strikes a harmonious balance that feels both refined and approachable.

Application Tips
Apply two sprays to your pulse points and let it settle for about five minutes before going out. The lemon and cardamom top notes are quite fresh but fade quickly, so the powdery and woody base will be more noticeable throughout the day.

Founding perfumer · 1 fragrances

Satori Osawa, born in Tokyo, grew up steeped in Japanese seasonal and floral tradition — her mother and grandmother were flower-arrangement teachers and her mother a tea ceremony master. She began studying perfumery in 1988 and in 1998 trained under Kenji Maruyama, former chief perfumer of Firmenich Switzerland, while also earning a Kado (Sogetsu school) master's license and a Sado (Urasenke school) tea name. She opened her own perfume atelier in 2000 and launched her Parfum Satori collection in 2003, becoming a member of La Société Française des Parfumeurs. In 2019 she became the first independent Japanese perfumer honored at the International Perfume Museum in Grasse.
